- Do not starve yourself. Your body will produce a rebound affect and you might actually see a weight gain if you stop eating. If your body is not receiving proper nutrition it will start storing fat.
- Get yourself in gear for a life style change. Being healthy needs to be maintained throughout your life, not just for the duration of a diet.
- Stop worrying about the number on the scale. You need to worry more about how you feel not how much you weigh. People become so consumed with a number that usually turns out to be unreasonable. This ultimately sets you up for failure if you are only worried about a number.
- When going through a life transformation you need to have people on your team. Surround yourself with others who want to help you and will encourage your decision. It helps when they are also supporting a healthy lifestyle!
