Injectables

Injectables represent some of the most popular and convenient treatments for facial enhancement and rejuvenation. We are proud to provide personal care to every patient who visits our office in Plano, TX, and to develop that care around their unique concerns and goals. In many situations, injectables are an integral part of the overall treatment plan.

Liquid Facelift

The customized Liquid Facelift treatment process empowers patients to look like a younger version of themselves without the risks and downtime associated with surgery. This treatment involves various injectables, including neuromodulators like Botox or Dysport and soft tissue fillers like Juvederm, Radiesse, or Restylane. In addition to its convenience and safety, the Liquid Facelift offers the benefit of immediate and long-lasting results. The procedure is done in about an hour, and patients get to enjoy some degree of rejuvenation before they leave the office. Other improvements, such as a reduction in frown lines or a slightly lifted brow, build over 5 to 7 days. While there are limitations to what a Liquid Facelift can do, the results that we achieve can provide nuanced improvements that plastic surgery may not.

Belotero

BELOTERO soft tissue filler is made of hyaluronic acid, HA. This is the same base ingredient used to formulate other popular dermal fillers. Where BELOTERO is different is in its consistency. While many dermal fillers may be made with hyaluronic acid, the substance that binds to water molecules to plump the skin, BELOTERO is so soft and fluid that it can smooth away the finest, most superficial lines without the same risk of skin discoloration or lumps.

Botox

Botox is the first neuromodulator to gain FDA approval for cosmetic use. Used for therapeutic benefits since 1989, Botox gained approval for cosmetic use in 2002. Since that time, it has been the go-to injectable for millions of adults wanting to reverse the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. In addition to treating frown lines, crow’s feet, a descending brow, and more, Botox is also used to treat jaw pain, headaches, and excessive sweating.

Dysport

Dysport is a neuromodulator just like Botox, but with a slightly different formulation. With fewer accessory proteins and smaller particle sizes of the purified botulinum toxin, Dysport may achieve results a little faster than Botox and may have a more subtle transition between treated and untreated areas.  The results of Dysport can last three to four months.

Juvederm / Juvederm Plus

Juvederm is a well-known name brand of dermal fillers that has a strong history of success. Juvederm and Juvederm Plus are two of the original formulations. The standard formula is softer and designed for finer lines. Juvederm Plus is more viscous and structural. It can be injected into deeper layers of the skin to erase more significant creases around the nose and mouth, as well as other areas.

Kybella

Kybella is in a class of its own. This injectable treatment has been developed to spot-reduce fat under the chin. The clinical term for a double chin is submental fullness. A person with submental fullness, excess fatty tissue at the upper neck just under the chin, may look heavier as a result, even if they maintain a weight that is healthy for their height. Kybella is made of deoxycholic acid. This naturally-occurring acid is made by the body during the digestive process. Its role is to break down dietary fat. In the form of Kybella, deoxycholic acid is inserted into a localized area to target unwanted fat cells. The process works naturally and achieves gradual results over the course of several weeks. Once the desired results have been achieved, they can last many years, if not indefinitely.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a dermal filler made up of calcium hydroxyapatite. This is a naturally-occurring material that is found in teeth and bone. While Radiesse is classified as a dermal filler and it does fill in lines and wrinkles similar to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, this product also stimulates collagen production. When the “filler” properties of Radiesse begin to deteriorate, its collagen generation persists, extending the corrective effects of treatment for up to an additional year.

Restylane & Restylane Silk

Many people do not recognize Restylane as the first-ever FDA-approved dermal filler. This family of products has evolved a great deal over time. Today, there are several Restylane products to choose from, including the original formulation with mid-range particle size and newer products like Restylane Silk, which has a very small particle size. The purpose of altering the sizes of hyaluronic acid particles is to modify the structure of the filler. With the smallest particle size, Restylane Silk is perfect for enhancing lip volume and definition. With the mid-range particle size, Restylane remains an excellent option for mild to moderate nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other concerns.

Restylane Lyft & Perlane

Restylane LYFT was formerly known as Perlane. This soft tissue filler, made of hyaluronic acid, is structured in a way to be more supportive of facial contours. With largely HA particle sizes, Restylane LYFT can be injected into deeper layers of the skin. It is ideal for cheek contouring, jawline contouring, and the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and creases.

Restylane Refyne & Restylane Defyne

Restylane Refyne & Defyne are dermal fillers that stand out for their unique characteristics. Made with XpresHAn Technology™, these two soft tissue fillers help patients retain the most natural flexibility in highly-mobile treatment areas. Restylane Refyne achieves more subtle volume increases in areas like smile lines, cheeks, tear troughs (undereye puffiness), and the lips. Restylane Defyne is more structural, so is ideal for the correction of deeper creases or volume loss in the cheek or temple areas. This filler may also be used to reduce the appearance of mild to moderate jowls.

Volbella

Volbella is a Juvederm product that is made using VYCROSS technology. The precise cross-linking of hyaluronic acid particles achieves the most natural look and feel for the lips. If you crave fuller, more defined lips, Volbella may be your ideal solution. Unlike other fillers that have been made for the lip area, Volbella can last up to a year.

Voluma

Cheek contours can change over time as the fatty tissue in the mid-face deteriorates. Voluma is a Juvederm product that is designed to increase cheek contours by adding structure more deeply beneath the skin. The inclusion of lidocaine in the Voluma filler promotes patient comfort during treatment. The heavier HA particles in Voluma support longer-lasting results, up to two years!

Vollure

Vollure by Juvederm is made with Vycross technology that can prolong the effects of the product in the treatment area. With all the talk of softer or more robust dermal fillers, we forget the immense value of a well-made mid-range filler. This is where Vollure lives. This soft tissue product is ideal for shaping the face to acheive harmonious accentuation across multiple areas. In some cases, thanks to the extensive skill that Dr. Fiona and Dr. Tim Wright have with various dermal fillers, Vollure may be the only filler that is needed to beautifully enhance the youthful shape of the face.

Procedures For Men

Time has taught us that men often have very similar concerns as women about their appearance. Men’s faces are susceptible to the visible effects of sun damage, stress, dynamic facial movements, and more. However, we cannot treat the average male face in the same way we would treat a woman’s. Men’s faces have vastly different contours, stronger muscular movements, and skin thickness. Our team is familiar with these differences and performs procedures for men from this foundation. Men can benefit from the very same treatments we offer to everyone, from laser hair removal to injectables. They benefit because we know where, how much, and how deeply to apply treatments to get the maximum tissue response.
