When:“America’s Sweetest Race” will take place on Feb. 8, 2014 at Fair Park. The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. with the 15K following at 8:10 a.m.

Why: The race benefits the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House in Dallas provides a temporary home away from home for families of children receiving care at Dallas area hospitals. The Chapter operates a 58-bedroom Ronald McDonald House, providing comfort, support and compassion to families in their greatest time of need. Inside the House, the Chapter also offers a Day Respite Room as a place for children and families spending long days in the hospital to relax. https://www.rmhdallas.org/
