The First and Only FDA-Approved RHA Filler for
Dynamic Facial Wrinkles and Folds
What is the RHA Difference!
The RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) Collection, stand out from traditional hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers like Juvederm and Restylane due to their innovative Swiss Network technology. While most fillers undergo heavy crosslinking that creates a more rigid gel, RHA uses minimal processing to preserve longer HA chains in a state closer to the body’s natural HA and movement. This results in exceptional elasticity—the gel can stretch significantly and bounce back with facial movements—making RHA the first and only FDA-approved filler line specifically indicated for dynamic wrinkles and folds.
Unlike more static fillers that can sometimes look stiff or unnatural during expressions (smiling, talking, or chewing), RHA fillers integrate seamlessly, delivering smoother, more natural-looking results in high-movement areas such as the nasolabial folds, perioral lines, cheeks, and lips. They typically last up to 15 months, offering strong duration while prioritizing a soft, undetectable feel. In contrast, Juvederm often emphasizes smooth volume and longer duration in static areas, while Restylane provides more structure and definition. Overall, Revance RHA fillers excel for patients who want refined, expressive results that move naturally with their face.
What is the RHA Collection?
The RHA Collection by Revance is designed with varying levels of resilience and firmness to match specific facial zones and concerns. Drs. Wright vast experience in selecting the right RHA product to ensure optimal integration, natural movement, and long-lasting, beautiful results tailored to each patient’s face.
RHA Redensity is the lightest and most refined, making it ideal for delicate areas such as fine perioral lines (smoker’s or lipstick lines), under-eye hollows (tear troughs), and superficial skin texture improvement around the mouth.
RHA 2 works best for mild to moderate dynamic wrinkles, including crow’s feet, radial cheek lines, and subtle lip enhancement, offering excellent flexibility in expressive areas.
RHA 3 is a versatile medium-density filler suited for moderate nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lip augmentation, providing natural volume while maintaining movement.
RHA 4 is the strongest and most robust in the line, making it the preferred choice for deeper nasolabial folds, jawline contouring, cheek volumization, and areas requiring structural support and lift.

How long before I see results?
You can expect instant results upon injection. The doctors can see the correction changes evolve during your treatment. They will also give you a mirror so you can see the effects and add a little more filler if you would like. Our patents are thrilled with the immediate results and appreciate the ability to return to their busy schedule within the day.
Like all fillers, the RHA Collection typical has some mild swelling after injection particularly around the eyes and lips. This is due to the product absorbing water and from the “trauma” of the injection and it will usually take 2 weeks to completely settle down and provide you with the “final look”. Should you want additional treatments, it is recommended that you wait these four weeks before reinjecting.
REVANCE produces RHA Fillers and Daxxify. How are they different?
Daxxify and RHA Fillers, both from Revance Therapeutics, are innovative aesthetic treatments that work in complementary ways to rejuvenate the face. Daxxify is a long-lasting neuromodulator (botulinum toxin type A) that relaxes targeted facial muscles to smooth dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, offering results that typically last 6 months or longer thanks to its unique peptide formulation.
In contrast, RHA Fillers (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) are dermal fillers designed to restore volume, fill deeper lines and folds, and contour the face while adapting naturally to facial movements.
While Daxxify addresses muscle-driven wrinkles by preventing contraction, RHA fillers physically add volume and hydration with exceptional flexibility, making them ideal for dynamic areas like the nasolabial folds, lips, and cheeks. Together, they provide a comprehensive, natural-looking rejuvenation—Daxxify for wrinkle prevention and softening, and RHA for structural support and youthful fullness.
Can people with different skin tones be treated with RHA fillers?
Yes, people of color can absolutely be treated with RHA fillers, and clinical studies support their safety and effectiveness across all Fitzpatrick skin types, including darker skin tones (types IV–VI).
RHA fillers have been specifically studied in diverse patient populations, with post- analyses showing that people of color often experience greater improvement in wrinkle severity (particularly nasolabial folds) compared to lighter skin types, along with high patient satisfaction and no reports of keloid scarring. Adverse event rates were generally similar or even lower in higher Fitzpatrick skin types.
That said, as with any dermal filler, individuals with melanin-rich skin may have a slightly higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) or prolonged bruising, so choosing an experienced injector who uses proper technique (such as slower injection, cannulas when appropriate, and conservative volumes) is especially important for optimal, complication-free results. That is why only doctors inject at Skin MD and Beyond – because you deserve the best!
Am I a candidate for treatment with RHA Facial Fillers?
RHA fillers are perfect for anyone who wants natural, youthful results that move beautifully with your expressions. Ideal candidates are men and women in their 30s through 60s who are beginning to notice volume loss, softening cheeks, or deepening smile lines and want a refreshed look without appearing “done.”
Whether you’re active and expressive, have thinner skin, or simply desire longer-lasting, flexible results that feel like your own, RHA delivers soft, dynamic enhancement that adapts with every smile, laugh, and conversation.
Patients of all skin tones love RHA for its natural integration and proven performance, making it an excellent choice for subtle yet noticeable rejuvenation with results that can last up to 15 months.
