As we all get ready to gain those pounds from this year’s Thanksgiving turkey, some of us will be walking for a cause to shed those unwanted pounds. This November 24, 2011 let’s all show our support for the 44th Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot. Sponsored by Capital One Bank, the YMCA Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day event of its kind in the country. It’s an event to keep families strong and healthy. This event supports important YMCA programs. The original Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot was held at the old fairgrounds back in the early 1940’s. This year come show your support and be healthy doing it.
