Cotton Bowl

It’s that time of year again for the 76th Annual Cotton Bowl Classic game. It is scheduled for Friday, January 6th at 7:00pm. This has become a tradition for a lot of families to go to the game and to start off the New Year. The first Classic was conceived by the late J. Curtis Sanford, a Dallas oilman and business executive. The first game matched TCU and Marquette on January 1st, 1937 at Fair Park’s Cotton Bowl Stadium. This will be the third year that it will have been played at Cowboys Stadium. The Cotton Bowl Classic serves as a match up for a team from the Big 12 Conference and one from the Southeastern Conference. This is the first year that the game will be played in primetime on a Friday night. For more info go to www.attcottonbowl.com
